so what are your thoughts on Halo 3?

personally, i'm willing to drop the $400 for the 360 to play Halo 3
i think it's going to be really good and god forbid i get Live. my grades would drop like a stone.
does anybody have any theories or speculations after watching the new commercial?
any thoughts about how the shield grenade will figure in the game?

I dont care about commercials, I just want to play the dam game in multiplayer. I never cared for the story line, just liked playing online and with friends.

i loved it all
i like the story line and i'm pretty excited to see how it ends in the third game
but also absolutely love playing online. man, hours just fly by when i have that headset on and the controller in my hands

I'm willing to bet that Halo 3 won't be as good as the original, seeing as Halo 2 was terribly bad compared to numero uno, even if I did play Halo 2 on Live for hours at a time, doesn't matter how shitty the game is, if it's a FPS and it's live capable, I'm all over it. How's that for a comma splice in multiple places within the run-on sentence I just created.

heres my thing on it, 1. Halo 1 has the best campaign mode hands down,
2. Halo 2 was only good for systemlink and online in my opinion.
3. Dual swords is really pointless if you think about it.
4. Shred metal grenades sound awesome.
5. From what i've heard their bringing back the magnum that was in the 1st halo also

I expect halo 3 to sell as much as halo 2. but still halo still has kickass story mode

i very seriously doubt halo 3 is coming out on ps3. Halo 3 is a microsoft game. Ppl who own a ps3 will go out and buy a 360 just for that game. Its kinda like how Gran Turismo wont come out for Xbox. Every platform has there major game where they wont sell it off

yeah, i've also heard rumors that they're bringing back the original pistol as well as the assault rifle but they're keeping the BR

i highly doubt that they're going to put halo 3 on ps3. it only gives people more reason to go out and buy a ps3 which microsoft obviously does not want. they will keep it on the 360 so people like me will go out and buy one just for halo 3

All I hope is that they find some way of blocking all the 10-12 year olds that berate everyone calling people they don't even know words that are super offensive. I've stopped playing matchmaking in H2 because I can't stand the people on it. Sure you'll run into a genuinly good person or team maybe once every 15 games or so, but that doesn't cut it. I hope that they build in the reporting system with greater customibilty so I can block people that have alot of negative feedback.

my biggest pet peeves on h2 are the little kids. they act like an idiot then when you point out that they're not nearly as good as they make themselves out to be, they call you a noob or a modder then start ranting about how they have an uncle who works at bungie. i find it hilarious when they tell you that they'll get you banned because bungie has zero power over banning people from live

People don't seem to understand that if they are lagging, there is a good chance everyone besides the host is lagging and they automatically assume that if they don't kill you every single time, that you are cheating. It's not just the kids that act like retarded 8 year olds who only know how to say bad words, I've met plenty of people who scream or talk crap for no good reason, not to mention the people that have their music up WAAAAAAY to loud. It always seems like they are listening to some bad techno too.
