Halo 3 Thoughts? - Blizzard Sector

I think halo 3 is goin to be the next best shooter out but I wanted to know what everyone else thought because almost everyone in my town plays halo or has played halo and enjoyed it.. also did everyone check out the trailer?

i think by releasing halo 3 on the same day ps3 comes out microsoft is digging its own grave, sure it might be an awesome game but they are going to get owned by sony

halo 3 is the only reasion im geting a 360 its gona b kick ass and i cant wait cause every damn gaming mag rates it top and e3 it was one of the best games halo 3 is gona b great but i hope u arnt the arbiter (gay as hell) and hopefully ur on earth all missions as for where the controls of the halo's r they r the hiding places of sadam husain and alkida so hopefully they all get killed well that was off topic but go h3!

meh if they dont end it this game im gonna laugh my ass off so far from watching the trailer there putting the old assult rilfe back in theres a massive cov base of earth and the game itself will be a bore if they dont actually finnish it like halo 2 and personally i dont think it gonna be good enough to just buy a 360 for it, i still like killzone more than halo 2 just not halo god halo was a good game

im not expecting much from halo 3 with its possable bland arsenel of weaponry like in the older halo games

I hope it's going to be awesome, I wish they would add more campaign than the 2nd one had. I'm going to get an Xbox360 just for this game and fable2 so it better be awesome.

lynch dont forget the fact that the 360 will crash mid game i've had it happen to me on a newer version several times ill buy it when they actually get it to work properly and the energy drain is not that of a small a/c
oblivion and gears of war are the olny games that are really catching my eye

Well, I think that H3 is going to be eather the worst or best Halo. Only time will tell.

That trailer was one of the worst I've seen, I can't believe fanboys are getting all worked up about it. I just hope it was better than H2

I dont agree with Halo > Halo 2. I play both just as much. In Halo I won over $5,000 and in Halo 2 I entered 3 MLG tournaments and made it in the top 10 in FFA. I remember the day H2 came out. I studied the strategy guide's multiplayer maps and was in the number one spot for over a month in FFA and Team Slayer. That was when it was hard to get a level 20. I was a level 24 before most were 21's. Lol. I can't wait for the next installment. I hope they add in the pelican as a human aerial transport. I hope they make it if you hit walls your vehicle gets damaged and so do you but, the vehicle has it's own health bar.

I personally think Halo is a bad remake of Unreal tournament(pc version) UT sucked on the home gamesole, but the mods and add ons for the pc were limitless.. i.e voicepaks,new game maps, etc... I am glad to see the competion lvl of Live on it tho and how 2 expanded from the original with the vehicles. I cant wait for the next brand name to take its place...

I personly can't wait to see how much the story line and interaction as well as custimazation has improved.

they will probably lose money for halo 3 and halo 2 (pc version) since they are limiting its product to 1 system. they should of made halo 3 for both xboxes and halo 2 for all pc formats. they limited it to only windows vista. its obvious they will lose alot of money on that mistake.

They already made Halo for the pc. THey will probably eventually make Halo 3 for the pc and xbox. It will probably be a really long time though.

they have halo 1 for pc (all windows of 95/98 and up. but halo 2 for only windows vista. most ppl dont want vista due to its only a starting release and high requirements. so they will probably lose money on it. halo 3 for xbox360 by july of 2007. and halo 2 for pc is only for windows vista Bungie.net : Games : Halo 2 Vista

i'm estimating they will lose about 1/3rd what their expected sales will be. some polls show most ppl arent going to get it due to the price of vista and all the requirements for it.

They will end up making it more compatable with other versions I'm sure. Especially when they see that no one is buying it for vista.

chances are they wont. they said the same thing about remastered releases of previous nfs games and they still havent released anything of the sort.shows how well they keep their word. bungie was better off staying with eagames before they broke apart.
