*Upon awakening Pamela gathers her weapons and puts her armor on over her soft green Tunic....Facing East she greets the sunrise and smiles a warm hello to her companions and the army of mages*

*Taking some food from her pouch she nibbles on it as the whole group begins to march to where Seprious is waiting*

Beholder....please watch our backs...I saw images in my dreams of assasins my brother has dispatched to take us from behind....we need you here to gaurd against an ambush....being a ghost should make stealth an easy matter!

*Pamela then salutes the army...and begins the days march...noting the subtle change in scenery.....the closer they get to her brother...the more bleak and dead the land appears*

*Out of nowhere they encounter a band of gobblins!*

*The mages begin to chant and cast magic....protecting the group from attack and laying waste to 10 in mere moments.....as Pamelas group draw there weapons and run into the fray!!!*

HOOAH!!!! *She screams and with a powerful slash nearly beheads a gobblin...seeing from the corner of her eye her friends fighting as well*

*Blood flows and many battle cries fill the air...the stench of death is pervasive and almost choking in its very intensity....suddenly Splintercell swoops in with his dragon...and the remaining gobblins are burned to cinders from a mighty blast of Dragon fire! *

* Looking around Pamela sees her group wiping the weapons clean and does the same...grimacing slightly at the smell*

*Facing them she says simply*....It has begun...this will end by nightfall....let us continue....

*lands his dragon and walks with the group as day begins* *with beholder here I have no need in flight, unless winged beasts are in need of being dispatched from this parched land they call home* *out of the corner of his eye there is a large, ominous shape moving slowly with us. It appears to be stalking us, but I have no idea what it might be* *Turning to Pam, "I'll go check that out with a couple of mages" and proceeds to walk towards the woods* *Upon entering the wooded area, loud cracking noises can be heard...The beast is running!* *charging in after the mysterious beast, Splintercell delves deeper and deeper into the forest* *Finally catching up to the beast enough to see it clearly, it is a Gigas mage, a member of a clan of giants serving Seprious* *after catching the Gigas, Splintercell leaps onto it's massive back, and proceeds to choke it* *After nearly 10 minutes of struggle, the Gigas finally stumbles and falls, giving Splintercell the chance he needs to stop the Gigas* *drawing his sword quickly and placing it at the Gigas' throat, Splintercell asks where Seprious is* *at first the Gigas is hesitant but after pressing the flaming sword into it's flesh, it gives up the requested information, or at least it's best knowledge on the subject* *"He has left the old kingdom, or at least the surface of it. Word has it inside the clan that he has forced the prisoners to construct for him an underground chamber, the likes of which this world has never seen. They say there is no way to find him in this chamber, because it is so huge, and that the only way he finds his way in and out is through his inner sight abilities. No one else has these powers that we know of, so no one can find him. You may as well give up now, if you are hunting Seprious.* *with that the life fades from the Gigas as the flame from the sword eats away at it's flesh* *returning to camp, Splintercell ponders on the words of the old Gigas* * ...his inner sight abilities... "How will we get to him now, if we are in the absence of these powers?" ...that we know of... "Maybe there is someone with these powers who can help us." "!PAM!" *runs back to the groups*
