All of these temptations
Are drowning my judgment
And I cant seem to see
The other side of me

All I know is
That nothing is certain
Behind the velvet curtain
And that I need to wash this pain away

What do I do here
With all of my fear
Do I express them
or do I suppress them

I used to know these things
They used to be simple
Now I am changing
Or am I simply forsaking

The truth is always open
and I need to show them
That I know the way
And that I will stay

You can really get a sense of uncertainty.Almost as if the subject wants,yet can not have.A sense of yearning and perhaps indecision on how to go about satisfying needs.

As soon as a saw the title read "temptations" and Pamela's name in the last to post, I just said "oh ***".

Good poem though, nicely written.
