This thread is for all you guys who want to showoff your Poetry and Lyrics! Here I'll start with some poetry I wrote around 2 months ago.

I have indulged my mind and invested my heart in you.
Addicted to your eyes, to your smile.
Fallen prey to your grace.
Don’t you see? I need you to rescue me.
Waited for you to come for so long…
I’ll wait forever, but just let me know that you will come.
Please tell me I’m not dreaming.
The thought of your presence inspires me.
Do you feel it? This sensation radiates out of me.
The feeling is too special to be given a name.
But if you choose to call it love,
Then love truly is bittersweet.
I want to share with you the happiness and love I know.
I want to let it grow.
If you come…come and see,
What is inside of me…
I have hidden something for the longest time,
Something so beautiful.
But now, I wish to share it with you.
I hope it’s not too late…
I’m sorry, if I have ever caused you pain.
I would never wish to harm someone so pure.
I have no way to express something so complex,
But through these simple words,
Maybe you will realize how special you are.
Hopefully, I’m not asking for much,
But please let me know that my love isn’t worthless.
You have shown me something amorphous,
Yet I feel it stronger than life itself.
I could go on forever, yet I will tell u simply:
You have blessed me with the gift of love,
But will you show me it’s true?

Let your unconscious mind wander to die from dissapointment.
Tragedy will be the end of your desire.
Give up now and save your pain for another cause.
Feed the hungry souls of despair.
Condemn the beast of love.
This mortal need is killing me.
Punish death for its cruelty.
Set free the dead slaves of hope.
Justice is not served in the court of god.
They shall worship the demons of hate and silence.
You have distorted my mind past the innocence of redemption.
The scent of incense burning in hell digs another inch of your grave.
Remind me to forget the meaning of memory.
To forget the scars carved from loneliness.
I’ll give it another try,
Only to find the dead side of the die...

Reality has lied.
False truths about life.
Pain is everywhere.
The corrupting touch of pain.

Joy is sold on the streets.
In the flesh.
Death is everywhere.
Why was I blind!

NO!

Not anymore.
I am now awake.
I can see truly,
With out the blissful Ignorance

I can no longer hide.
The shadows will no longer hold me.
I am no longer afraid.
Only love holds me.

No more passiveness.
Action must be taken.
This pain must lead to action.
And action to change.
