The contest is to write the best presidential speech (my nephew's running for president at his middleschool so yah he asked if i could get him one and yah ). The best speech will get the grand prize and the second place winner will get the 2nd place prize. Remember its a middleschool presidential election so please no profanity and keep it clean. Try to keep it under 2 minutes so no 300000paragraph speechs. Humor tied into the speech is looked for.

Grandprize: 3000points
2nd place prize: 1500points

Good evening, i am running for president and i would like to present you with my thoughts and feelings towards being your president. I want to start by saying, i know the others running have some good points, but i think i can proove that i am the best candidate. Ever since i was very young, i have been trying to help people with their problems, and usually i was successful. I try my best to get a job done, even if i have to spend 20+ hours with no overtime. I like knowing that i am making progress while doing anything. I want to improve the quality of our school. This can be done by holding fund raising events, and maybe we can even purchase afew new computers for the computer lab. I would like to have the school connected with a high speed comcast connection. I would also like to have video confrencing capabilities, and we could work on group projects with other school's throughout the world. I have heard various complaints on the lunches served, and im currently seeking a solution. Afew of the teachers have been doing a less than acceptable job, and i think we can seek out some better group of educational advisors. I would also like to improve upon the after school programs. Alot of students cannot get a ride home until maybe an hour after school ends. I believe we should provide them with activities to keep them off of the street, even if for only an hour. I hope my thoughts were clear and concise, and please vote for me.

Good morning fellow americans,peers, students, and friends. Today I am presenting before you a speech, but as you listen to my words and what I am about to say, think not of me as a potential leader in our school, but as a friend and a helping hand looking to make the world a better place. If I am elected YOUR president i will swear to uphold the decency and good name of which we have all brought this school to be, I will listen when you need to be listend too, I will help when you need to be helped, I will be there to correct injustice and do the right thing. If I am elected your president the first action I will make is sitting down and hearing each and everyone of your suggestions on what we can do to make this a better enviroment for you and for me, and also because I strongly believe that it is not about what I want, but what you, the students would like to see changed,or put in place.As my speech is almost up, and as you decide who you will vote for in this election,remember one thing,I may not be the biggest or strongest,but I will fight for you and what you think is right till my final day in office.
