WoW hero classes - Posted: 01-04-2009
I've been playing a 10d trial of lich king since . I been noticing holy crap there are a crap load of deathknights. Don't u guys think it was stupid just to release only one hero class?
Also i found this. Im not sure if it actually a joke. But i would be fricken phsyced if this came true. Im not sure if you guys have seen this, its pretty old.

Blizz has really steered away from calling them "hero classes" -- they are more like a 10th class that gets kind of a jump-start. And yeah, the bard is an april fool's prank.

Yea bard was April Fools Prank, I don't really think the DK is OP when you come to the fact if they have full epic naxx gear and so do you they might be slightly OP without gear, I heard they can be OP in PvP atm but haven't tested it myself as not much into PvP.

They hate being kited.
As long as you use your escape cooldowns AFTER deathgrip, they hate you.
Icy chains can only do so much

DK are OP in PvE but PvP they are not hard to kill if you know what you're doing. Best way to figure out a DK strategy? Plan one and learn their abilities, then you can figure out how to counter them.

lol, well i've been teamed a couple of times by surprise and was able to take down 2 horde around lvl 62ish. All i did was death and decay, icy touch, the other disease, mark of blood, heal, death strike, blood strike, and repeat, oh and death grip if they ran away. It worked well. I was against a dk and a hunter i think. Icy chains was awesome against the hunter, chained his pet and just killed him.

IMO death knights are way to OP, but then again this is coming from a warrior who gets my ass handed to me by the simple fact that unless im fury (EWWWWW) I cant get out of multiple chains/deathgrips

Well as a healer trying to PVP and against a DK is pretty hard unless I shield, I have got 2 DK's in my guild now right up there with dps, my highest dps'er though comes from a SV hunter.

Yeah, I really want to level my hunter now. He's gonnalevel BM but as soon as I'm 80 his ass is Suvival. My brother was dealing 2000+ DPS while still wearing some of his level 70 epics.

Frost would be the best bet in pvp, you don't realy need diseases with it.
Also, lichborne = <3
Even if frost is the most BORING spec to play.

my poor old main is more or less useless now.
Warlocks in pvp = LOL FREE HK.

while i was playing the trial, i hated the fact that in outland 79% of the population was DK. all my instance's were 5man's of dk's it was ridiculous. The rolls were terrible.

Actually the PvP spec for Arena DK's is 21/0/50, unholy with mark of blood. All the other specs are inferior and gargoyle pumps out insane dmg. I've never played discipline before but I was forced into it for arena since Shadow is ****ing retardedly bad. If you think your lock is weak, play a spriest.

Nobody can handle the leetness of this sig.

I'm specced pure PvE on my Spriest and I've been pulling 2300ish dps on 10 man Naxx fights (not Thaddius) when I'm sticking to my rotation and popping my trinkets with 1625 unbuffed damage and 16.74% crit (not counting Mind Melt) and hit capped.

As far as I care, SPriest is one of the most valuable classes out there for a raid.

I haven't done arena yet though, lol.

Our SV hunter goes about 4.2k dps in 25 man naxx and about 5.5k on trash with his AoE, another suprise is the massive dmg our boomkin is doing.

I raid shadow, and I can do 4k+ dps with no issue (Granted lag doesn't decide to shit on my rotations, ty high pop servers). 6k+ on trash because Mind Sear is op. I have 2k spellpower unbuffed, and 22% crit. Then when both my trinkets proc and raid buffed I hit 4k+ spelpower lawl.

Nobody can handle the leetness of this sig.
