i've heard affliction is best for pvp but personally i like destruction. whatever you do, just realize that if you specc for just pvp you will be useless in dungeon raids.

Seeming i play WoW and only have love for one class a warlock ill tell you what i think imo, the 3 talent trees all have their good points ive only been destruction and affliction so ill focus on these althought ive been told if you go demonology you can grind well and kill casters eZ in PvP.

Destruction imo is a wanna be mage with fear and DoTs, your shadowbolt and conflagrate crits can get pretty high and if you know how to use this kind of warlock you can really carve up in PvP a famous destruction build is DrakeDog you can see him on Youtube. As for PvM or farming destruction isn't the best as your mana gets eaten fast and crowd control isn't your cup of tea.

Affliction Warlocks (my current build) are one of the easiest characters to play as i play WoW on a internet that is very bad i get fairly high pings but i find a affliction warlock very easy to play they annoy the hell out of ppl in PvP and can be just as deadly as destruction if played right as in duels they get the advantages of an instant fear and 4 DoTs and a siphon life is now actully worth using you can get your life back at 150+ a second (gets very high if you have +dmg gear). As for affliction in PvM? the best imo dots siphon life 70% chance to resist interruption its just great dark pact and life tap make mana not a problem and you don't have to wait between killing monsters for life and mana if you have done things right you should have lost no mana or life pretty much they have one of the best crowd controls with an instant fear and 3 instant dots with the help of a healthstone and a void walker to sacrifice they make great grinders and can survive a beating in PvP.
