Trading Torches, how can you do it? - Blizzard Sector

Can you trade though Trade Dialog Box? I've never tried to trade torches before, but I've joined a couple games and they keep wanting to drop torches on ground, sounds like some kind of scam. And one guy told me you could trade through dialog box. Torch for Torch does it work through box, or torch for an Item and it works?

Droping items on the ground is a 100% scam
just dont do it, and yes torches CAN go in the Trade Screen

Thats how you use to trade torches. Even then it was mostly a scam.

you can trade torch for other items, but i dont think you can do torch for torch.
although you can ask him to show u the torch, for proof that he has it, and then trade somewhere where a drophack doesnt work (if they still exist)

ya, you cant trade torch for torch through the window. you still have to drop, which is ok, b/c you cant carry two torches at the same time.

Just as advice, and i hope you have come to this conclusion, make sure where they drop their torch is not near a wp or tp, and that nobody else is in the game.
