I don't know what the policy is about discussing this kind of thing here, so forgive me if I am transgressing some forum rule.

I know eBay barred the sale of most virtual/digital property including diablo 2 items because of the legal ambiguity of selling the pseudo-extant / copyrighted creations of the software developers. Most get around that by the legal loophole-claim that they are selling their time and effort in acquiring the items within a randomized game environment and not the "items" themselves per se.

My question is, does there exist any thriving community of little-person to little-person online auction type trading place of real legal tender diablo 2 items, since the restriction of eBay (I notice some such auctions are up on eBay rather endemically, but not to the level it was prior and they are found and removed like all other restricted auctions)? I have noticed places like D2Nuts which however has seemingly no patrons and few items.

Does anyplace still exist for this market outside of the big presumably overseas South Korean sweatshops of Lewt.com & the like?

Not really aware of any other auction houses for D2 myself, actually I didn't know about this one. Apparently not many other ppl do either...

Well at least the one I gave is free to post auctions unless they sell, but the site doesn't work that well, the listings only post about 30% of the time from my experience.

Couldn't hurt to list everything good you find that you don't need though I guess ;-P

I don't know what realm you play on but there is a site that caters to USWEST ladder only that is small, limited but freaking cheap. I got completely equiped for less than the price of a hot dog and coke Costco style. The guy that runs it seems to be a decent human being and speaks english rather well.
