if u see any ad's on the game saying "clan cry reqruiting, go to channel op cry_clan" then dont listen to them because they just want to scam u for ur items by telling u to type /dnd (acct) (pass) ect dont fall for their tricks

yea i knew that trick 4 a while but there are still noobs who fall 4 this trick so im just letting every1 know about this "clan" and what they really want 4rm u.
when they asked me to do this... i typed "/dnd LOL u noobs think u can scam me" and they just left
there are 2 so called recruiters 4 this clan im just letting u all know that they might try and get u

i guess thanks for trying to help the newbs...seems so obvious to me though...someone tried this on me when i was a newb and i didnt fall for it then either. i dont know why he reported me, but nothings come of it yet and probably never will

Do people still seriously fall for this scam? I thought that this was an issue back in 09, along with all those item-dropping sites. There was some kind of 'hell' clan scam website, and a few others.

The best advise would be not to have your intenet browser open while in a game with another person. I remember sometime back in 09 a person was trying to recruit me into a clan. I told him "fine, I'll leave the game, check out the website, and after I check it out and maybe join, I'll rejoin the game and talk to you". Good times... :)
