Thor, Possibly one of the strongest units the terran obtain.
Very Heavy Firepower,
Very Strong, just a complete fortress but everything comes with a price, very slow turn rate, just slow period.

Cool thing about it is it can be build by a SCV straight from the ground, I dont think any units occupy it.
But yeah its the Ultimate Heavy Assault Mech.

Thats what Im guessing or even zealots,
Zealots come with a Charge ability, so maybe 12 can just surround it and take it out but then again who would have such a expensive piece of equipments cruising alone, Im sure this would be backed up with marines and such.

Yea I would guess standard things would still apply its has to otherwise no point really just build that a destroy the other team then..... Don't really see it as a replacement to the goliath as is was easy to take down and not really great on the ground except to take out zerglings quickly but more for its air missle upgrade.

Yeah i think it would do a good job defensively.
Behind a few tanks and bunks facing the right direction, they should do a great job, I think they replaced the goliath because, well its the same concept a mech and much. Thats just my opinion either way.

Remember these Thors can fire and siege mode. Siege mode is like a powered up tank.

Edit: I don't think its the exact unit to replace the Goliath. Because the Goliath looks replaced by the Viking. It closely resembles it. I saw on the website it fires one Wraith missiles in air in its action shot. While it shoots the sort of connotative weaker Gatling gun when its on the ground. So the missiles seem much more powerful vs air, so it probably replaces the Goliath, but now with land and air capabilities. =D

Seriously though, those Gatling gun vs the ground units look so weak. Its like the Wraiths laser beams on the ground. Haha.
