Microsoft has just announced Windows 7 and all other programs associated with Microsoft are now going to be released. For Free. Microsoft office, and even has convinced Adobe to release all new versions of adobe for free. The catch? Well there is none. It's completely free. However, it's only going to be for one month and after that, new versions will have to be paid for. Updates, however, are free.
An executive has said the cause for this drastic step is to say sorry for Vista, and also to get more loyal consumers to Microsoft, so in the recession, they will be saved.
But wait, it doesn't stop there, all games for the xbox will be sold for free, and the top dogs of Microsoft will cover the charge.
To stop people from taking advantage of the system though, and taking 10 of an item, and then selling later, they will require a "card" for all free purchases, so then you can only get one. The card will be connected to your id, so you can only have one, and if you lost yours, its recoverable. And that of course means you need a drivers license to get the free items.
