Hi when im on diablo II and my brothers on i lag but when his computer is off i dont lag, i have sbc yahoo dsl, im wired and hes wireless, if i get road runner will it do the same?

good question. im not sure if road runner will be that much better.. (i have it myself, but my brother doesnt play d2.. he watches youtube)
road runner is faster, and should handle the increased bandwidth.

note. road runner which is owned by time warner got bought by comcast.

are you and your brother in the same house?...just info that might be helpful...if so, switch to wireless as well by getting a card. its like 40 bucks or so...if not, try checking your background processes..

another thing that could fix it is changing diablo 2 from 3d to 2d.

sounds like its trying to read off both at once. i'd just switch to either both to wired or both to wireless...wireless would be best..

Me and my brother use to play exactly like that. I am wirelessly connected and my brother is connected directly. We play fine. What router do you have? I also have sbc dsl.

Did you say you had brother(s). Having 2-3 other people playing the same game at the same time can cause lag. Especially starcraft. It is too laggy.

2 computers mine and his . my brother is on myspace, im directling connected to the router thing hes wirless. i have the stock router from sbc thing
