Other Devices: Video Controller

hey guys i got a very very old graphics card in my pc and its under other devices section of the device manager and i know its a "Diamond Speedstar A55" (AGP) (8Mb) lol but it doesnt detect it as that and im guessing that it why my other diamond card wont work cuz this one isnt workin properly. so my questions is how can i get it to read properly?

are you using xp?
i dont think you can get it to read that properly. your drivers may be way too old. well, i would drive to dl the most up to date version of the drivers. see if that helps. but other than that, it could be too old

delete the old, restart. it should detect on startup

this is the old, and i dont got the drivers for it cuz its soo old

You should be able to download the drivers offline. I am almost 80% positive someone has hosted them online and you can get them.

even though this isnt for xp, xp might still be able to recognize it.
if that, the default drivers of xp should work. on my old comp, i have a diamond viper 32mb video card that runs fine, without its original driver, b/c xp provided its own default one

Yah i have been looking for a little bit on this also. I can not find any drivers for xp. Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 pro is all i can find. I will keep you updated if i can find anything else.
