i have 2 computers and an xbox 360. the computer i go on to play and do stuff on doesnt seem to be able to connect to the internet. the xbox 360 and the computer upstairs seem to have it fine. now that you know where my computer is can you tell me why its doing this or what cord might be unplugged?
i looked at my router and its plugged in, and me and my bro go through that and try to make sure everythings plugged in. but nothings seem to be working.
so... im at my moms house typing this and if you guys cant help me then well you'll be seeing half as much as me...

could be a few things. the mac id is probably not reading on the router or its not listed. if thats it, clone your mac id in the router. there should be an option in the router page for it. then let it be applied. that should fix it.

Did you use to have connection to the internet with your gaming comp?

mac id is the serial number the router reads from the network card. go to start->run and type cmd. next type ipconfig /all
it will tell you your mac id of the card.
if you are running linksys, go to its page which is 192.168.1.1 use your password and go to admin and check if your macid is there. if its not, go to advanced and clone the mac id.
