2 computer -> b.net problem

hello all, ive got a problem wich is realy starting to piss me off now.. so my friend got his computer at my place since he doesnt have internet at home, he comes here every evening to play diablo with me..BUT after a while of playing we both get kicked, and it says "something connection temporarly restricted" why do we get this? because both are online at the same time? any programs to sort it out? it must be because we both are mfing.. but is there a program to keep this from happening?

what is happenin is your probly leaveing and joining games to fast and u get booted for a while just turn off the net then turn it back on after a min, and i do belive there is a program to TRY and slow this problem from happenin alot, i will look for one...

do you fail to join alot also?

I don't personaly. But my cuz has cable, and has to fast of a connection, so he cant join games unless he makes one first. Try that, it may work.

Neoverse that always works when u get kicked, its because battle.net might suspect of botting or somthing

well we do have problems joining games..sometimes, but we dont get booted for a couple minuites! sometime it can take 13 hours until we can play again! :s ! its realy pissing me of right now..i mean, we cant mf properly at all...

I know the problem, when you get ip banned it is because your ip is making too many games, when you've got twice the games being made, you've got twice the chanceto be ip banned. My trick is whenever I see the person on the other computer is banned, sometimes it doesn't boot me from the game, and I just don't leave that game for a long period of time.

side note: I really should turn off bzs when I go out and do social things.

yeah i know :/ ive done that a couple of times but it aint fun being stuck on hell with a weak fire sorc and mephs already dead :P

Try killing another boss like andy or something...Should help you not get kicked as often..You can only create so many games before it suspects you for botting then you are ip banned for hours....If you do get ip banned the best thing for you is to not try to log in for at least 30 minutes...Because trying to log back in also suspects of a bot and can make the ban take longer...

ok, thanks for the advice but unfortunaly im a fire sorc so i cant kill all andy's helpers.. and im to weak to jus barge in kill andy and go... but my friend is a cold so he kills meph and andy all the time..

Still between the 2 of you...you are creating to many games you need to either kill another boss or chill in that game for a little while

hmm yeah i guess so :/ we've tried that, ive moved all my mf stuff to my pala so it will take longer time :P now we can play longer but we still get that connection thing...

both kicked off. that might be from the masking setup on the computers from the router or one of your cards. I had that problem in 1.10 with an hp and my computer. one of the issues was his mask was exposed and bnet mistaked it as a bot. plus when they pinged the cards. his came up scrambled because it was an onboard card. might be the same case for you. if it is, check the dns masking, ports and make sure you both are using cards that aren't onboard and scrambled.

Supposedly you can make 20 games per key set, per hour. No one knows for sure but it is some where close to this ( I think it is less). A failed game counts against you as well! You could maybe do 10 games each and then change your mac address in your router and reboot your cable modem and viola new IP address. I do this to get around botting banns :)
