Before u make ANY upgrades to your computer, make sure ur POWER SUPPLY can handle anything new u wish to buy. Your power supply has to have the same, or more, watts than any new hardware u buy requires. If u have a 350 watt, I think that would be enough for a geforce 6800GT. Also u might wanna put a fan next to ur computer, cuz im guessing it's gonna overheat since dell sucks ![]() Last edited by L4E; 07-02-2006 at 04:07 PM. |

I hate dells, they always do that. try to get 1gig, 512 at least. as for video, most dells i had to deal with only handled a 256 video between the 2200-2600 series. (friends like dell. they never learn) |

I suggest you choose either an ATI card or a GeForce card depending on what you do more on your computer. I am currently using an old GeForce and will probably update to an ATI AllInWonder (video card, tv tuner, tv out) which is a good video card, you can watch TV on your comp and you can put your computers screen (say if you have a movie playing on comp) onto the TV screen. |
