sounds interesting. on a side note, anyone know where to get programs to scan stuff so we don't need the same people to do this over and over?

I scan it with an online scanner such as VirusTotal (scans with a bunch of antiviruses), I then take it and decompile it to look at the code, I then take it over to my old "zombie" comp and test it with the internet off using tools to see what it does when it runs.

If you want a good antivirus for your comp, click the AVG Free link in my signature. If you want to scan a single file for a virus using a bunch of different Antiviruses, then use VirusTotal or Jottis Online Malware Scan

Additional Comment:
This file is bad. Just a quick look at it and I know that it comes with IST Bar which is a ***** to get rid of and is total spyware, I am not even going to bother to check for viruses, just don't touch this program. It's bad to the bone = )

Thats odd... maybe a false positive? I don't think the guys at Call for Help are untrustworthy, Leo knows what he is talking about... I didn't bother to look deeper into it because of your low post count, I just saw virus total come up with 2\3 hits and I thought that was the end of it...

If it really is on the Call for Help website I give it the thumbs up, I can test it out on my old computer and see what the program actually does, but it should be clean if they recommended it.
