I like rap and rock. A lot of the rap songs i've heard are hardcore gangster but i like the ones that say something, the ones that are deep. I think I only like one type of rock, but i also like very few metal bands. Rap, Rock, both swell. :

Wow, absolutely wow, those people out there that like rap allow me to have no faith in the human race. Whenever a rap song comes upon my ears I want to throw-up if you call "raping your children" and "beating your wife" good music..Then dude, you really need to get a musical upgrade. Metallica, APC, and Tool are some definite bands I would please like you to check the lyrics to. 'Disposable Heroes' is a song I would please like you to listen to.

The guys named Tool and A Perfect Cirlce...I love you guys. I respect both forms but as I've said many rappers do not deserve my respect.

rock is way better than rap by far...first off you can tell what they say and the music doesnt hurt your ears with all the damn curse words

Hmm you guys, I can feel the ignorance in the air. If you think Rock or Rap is better just state it dont be like killing the other genre by saying like Rock or Rap is Bullshit its all a bunch of mumbling to make money and hurts your ears, just kinda be like ya i like Rock Or Rap better, It is just my style.

i don't really care either way...i listen to rap when i go out dancing because girls like to grind to it...and i'm not gonna complain...i prefer rock...

for all those people who hate rap or whatever, chris rock does a routine where he says something like

"i love rap...but its so hard to defend now a days. It used to be easy to defend rap in the good old days of tupac, etc. But defending Move B!tch get out da way? Obviously he has B!tch who was in his way...And trying to defend lil john....the sweat drips down my (you know the rest)"

I think it isn't true to everyone who said rap is about life...most main stream rap is not about it, but still fun to watch girls shake their booty too.

Right now, I don't really care what I am listening to unless it is Country Music or the new "money" rap(yuck). The new Grand Theft Auto got me to accept gangsta rap lol.

I am mainly just a Rock type of guy.

Allrighty I have seen quite enough bashing and name calling...this is supposed to illicit intelligent responses and opinoins not right out blatant hostility! I like ALL kinds of music from Rap ,soft rock,Heavy Metal,Country....Music expresses within us things we can not say aloud at times...it evokes emotions and responses from us that are oftentime involuntary!...So I truly think the question SHOULD be...what does a particular song mean to YOU as a person...why do you like it?
