So it's ok that the same shit everyday is banning or alienating the users that make the forum interesting? I'm sure Shift probably did do something to rage some ppl but so ****ing what. Do you think people don't piss people off IRL? Don't see why it should be any different here. Besides I don't think this is ENTIRELY about Pam. I know other people have had their hand in running off some of our more interesting members. Don't let this go on any further. It's like the forum is being sterilized, all the users that aren't happy little robots are being driven away. I for one started coming here because of the diversity and colorful nature of the people here, thought that what it was all about...don't ruin what little we still have left.

On the bright side, this thread goes to prove that diversity and colorful nature of a handful of forum members, so there's something for which to be thankful. Scandals like these help to bring in the thoughts and ideas; very precious... ~jedi

Just because things don't get changed doesn't mean a little ranting isn't useless. It gives something for people to read and be happy for RL. Also, not everything can be done via MSN - sometimes we need a little "out in the open" discussion, even if it is something on this nature. I agree that it is doubtful anything would be changed due to this, because at some point somebody, perhaps me, will close this thread and bring this discussion to a temporary halt until it either gets reopened, mods continue talking here, or *****ing takes over another thread. But even with me, I talked with her on MSN for months and we just became friends and all the sudden she said "I put you up for mod, i think your right for it" and modship had never been discussed before that point in time...so i think when you say "sucking up" thats the wrong phrase or just wrong peroid.

There's a little feature next to every thread saying VIEWS for that. Either way, I'd rather hear nothing than some random person telling me how much they don't know. Besides many a time it's in a thread that's fully active. I think they get the hint.

I agree it's spamming, I'm just pointing out that spam without even good intent goes unpunished while people complain about her. I'll be the first to admit I have spammed a lot in the past and very rarely have I been warned, and never for spamming either.

Also, to Blue and Scream, I know this is a forum...I'm pointing out something amusing amusing to me. Stop acting like your the mature kid on the forum making fun of the people taking shit seriously...that role is played out and everyone usually hates the guy who plays it. And, ironically, you pointing that out proves that you do indeed care, otherwise you would have ignored it and said nothing. So you state that you don't care about something you actually do care about, I think that counts as a paradox and the universe is going to implode now.

As far as I am concerned,reading all this ,as Jedi pointed out,allows people to voice their opinions and grieviences. In Fuggy's defense,he really does point out things to me on MSN as he states here.He and I have chased this old horse around the barn a few times.Whether anyone has noticed or not,I rarely post in the sections I am not knowledgable on ANYMORE!
Have I in the past? Of course I did and it is a forum joke now.I took to heart advice,and send people PM's with questions on things I don't understand.

I do care, but I think no one should get up tight just for a little bit of spam. Or for all other things, I think people should warn those that repeatedly abuse the system, not people who its just once in a while for. I myself would be rather relieved if Jedi actually spammed, it would show he does have a "life". Don't take that the wrong way, I'm talking about the literal life.

If you find it amusing, then go ahead and find it amusing, but don't talk like we should get hardcore warnings for it.

Edit: Pamela, just read your post, I have a problem with your constant (or what seems to be) by the book strict ruling.

I think you can only ban regular mods and down, unless you got an admin to do it, so you wouldn't be able to ban smods. Not too sure if it's different with temp ban and perm ban...just figured I'd let you know. ~jedi
