Besides you permabanned him before the other accounts, so don't say Thanks Frater, he gave him a week ban, and then after discovering the other accounts said it warranted a permaban, not a permaban cause he attacked a supermod. Besides I've called you on making up (or blatantly ignoring) rules in the past, so it's not like this is the first time.

Shift and the other 12 year olds are welcome to pull off "jokes" as long as they want, as long as they stay within forum guidelines. There is a certain point where you cross the line, or you just start spamming like a moron, and as reluctant as I am to do that, I will just apply the forum rules, the very rules that the retard was aware of in the first place, and probably saw that ban coming?

I don't care how of a nice guy he is or how much **** he has sucked, I will warn anyway, regardless of their status, if I believe that it is appropriate. I don't see how anyone can dispute my decision on a reasonable basis. He spammed, he took his horseshit too far, he gets temp banned. It's about as simple as it gets.

On the other hand, I wouldn't have perm banned him. If Pamela thought that it was appropriate, it's fine with me, unless someone brings up an appeal on a reasonable basis, which no-one has managed to do thus far. Pamela can be harsh, can be a *****, can be a lot of things, but she is one of the best things that has ever happened to this forum. Maybe sometimes overemotional, I don't have any doubts in her capacity as a Super Moderator. After all, as Shift managed to prove in an excellent manner, even some of the older members manage to be appear as a trite bunch of tards at times, and that is when you need some more heavy handed moderation.

I couldn't say that I turn a blind eye to spam, a post here or there, **** I do it myself, pretty often. I don't think I've ever warned anyone for spamming, as most of the time, it's on a one-off basis and generally, the members of the forum seem to handle it pretty well. But when someone takes it to another level, that's when I take action. It was pretty ****ing obvious that Shift was going to keep making a series of threads aimed at anyone that didn't get his little "joke, nyah nyah". He was immature, he was an idiot, and he got what was coming. Oh, and Pamela mentioned in the other thread that she'd unban him after a while.

If you have a problem with my decision, then come and dispute it with reason. I'm not interested in your *****y emo bullshit.

I'm not arguing that he shouldn't have had a banning for a week or w/e your decision was, I'm arguing the events that followed with Pam and all the shit she loves to make up so often. There was no reason at the time to permaban somebody when a week would have been sufficient. He'd have gotten the idea and moved on. I've never once mentioned in any of my posts that what you said or did was crap, everything was focused at Pam's crappy post spree. Besides I'm not arguing cause it was Shift, I argued cause everything Pam said in her post was complete crap, the idea behind it all. Everytime I Tell her something like this, she'll reiterate my post in her own, saying she does this, and nothing ever changes. Blizzsector goes through cycles but Pam is stuck doing the same things over and over. I usually don't get this serious on the forums but I've had enough.

Make threads that talk about ways to reform? Hell I've started like 5 or 6 revolution threads, you'd think something would stick. Instead I get shit like "Hardy Harr Must be Fuggle up to his fanciful tricks, everything said here must be a joke and I'll go on with my business." Sure as hell isn't.
Why don't I participate in "Rule Writing Ceremonies"? Well I do, and every time I usually will have 1 rule stated and say nothing more. Rules beyond the bare necessities break forums. They stop members from returning, they stop threads from getting heated or interesting, they stop the number of posts received daily, they are scourge of the forums. That is my contribution to every single rules thread, and I will continue to say this. I find all rules besides the basics like No Advertising etc etc. to be a detriment to the longevity of the forums.
Besides you don't need me kissing your ass when you already have half the mod team (and an admin) keeping that thing polished.
