Actually most species concentrate on food...either gathering or hunting,or procreating.....even then some species eat their young...so...ya.

Yes, I was lloking out for me because I'm the ONLY citizen of the near 300 million population of the US who doesn't want to get drafted. How selfish of motherf*cking me!

i dont see how getting drafted is death, considering that while you hear of people dying on the news and what not the media makes it out to be a lot worse than it actually is i have friends over in iraq and they say they only thing they are scared about most days are the heat, and the occasional road side bombing

That is about the 7th time he has been advised to grow a pair,although I do not see his concern so much as a lack of testicular fortitude,as much as I view it as uninformed,and placing his concern in the wrong area.
Not many people would want to be pressed into service unwillingly.My whole point is...there IS NO...and most likely WONT BE a draft! Get over it already and at LEAST ***** about something that is a valid concern.

The original topic sucked because chances are good that there won't be a draft...kinda making the entire topic pointless.

Hell, I'm concerned with certain problems in America, too. I mean with foreign policy, social security, gov spending, national debt, the educational system, health care, war on drugs and war in iraq- all failing....a draft seems like the least harmful to you.

True, and very true. I never said I didn't express concern in those areas as well, trust me, I give a damn. I just wasn't taking that particular initiative at this time. But, there are many areas of harm and destruction at stake here, silly me just went with the most physical.

I also did not say you should not be concerned about your generation.Just pointing out as others have,there are many other things you could focus on to bring about change that would be more beneficial.

I'm not exactly scared of a draft, i've said before i'd help my country.
Emphasis on my country.
Britain has nothing to do with this, so if i was to be drafted, i'd highly disagree with it.
Take some time to read the thread before you choose the moral highground.
