Faith doesn't have to be religious. You can have faith in yourself. You can be faithful to a significant other. Like I said I'm far from religious, haven't done anything remotely religious with my life in 10+ years.

To Kaze, lol at your "Paris Hilton" thing, Paris is not in any way attractive, or look like that.

I don't find Paris attrative at all. Even if the sig isn't her I don't think shes pretty lol. And I think she does resemble her. I mean with makeup, its easy to change looks like that. The girl I played badminton doubles and practiced smashing with at Delta college half and hour ago was pretty.

She should live near me. Since I live in front of Chavez, and she goes to Chavez. But I go to some other school. Asian girls are sooo cute. She freaking looks like Rinoa from FF8? Just like this one girl in 7th 8th grade.

Edit: Man I should of told her I was a regular at Blizzsector huh? That would of impressed her.

There obviously is a difference since the divide it causes.

Fuggz you misunderstood the quote, I will never live my life to satisfy anyone but myself. This includes other people, gods, whatever you can think of.

If by satisfying others I satisfy myself, good deal. The point is I am in everything for myself.

you guys should read m. scott peck.

religion as an individual way of governance is great, using religion to govern a group of people is dumb. ie making abortion illegal because some peoples personal beliefs are against it. or banning unkosher meat. you just dont mess with folks and their religions. I like cupcakes.
did all religions originate from a story ogg told krug in cave?
fundamental religious types are preachy douchebags, self righteous atheists are pretentious, both alienate those who might not agree with them in the slightest, black and white my friends, black and white, I personally like the color brown, chocolate is brown, so is chocolate frosting. chocolate frosted cupcakes are so good, with the weird colorful batter and the buttercream chocolate. here is an interesting story someone told me, I can paint my car two different colors and get into an accident, and two people can have 2 different stories and still both be correct.

The only pretentious thing here is how you put across your opinions.
What you just said defies itself, You pretend to be impartial but all you are doing is generalizing and tarring everyone with the same brush.

you know what, forget it. yes, I do sound preachy. I may be preachy douchebag, but hey, my ego wont permit me to aknowledge that, SO I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU TO BANNETH ME. you in fact make a perfect example what I was talking about. you initiate me as the enemy, instead of trying to influence me you attack me, you try to alienate me, in turn I attack you back, trying in my futile ways to somehow make you feel dumb. my thoughts and perceptions are never changed, your thoughts and perceptions are never changed, nothing is solved. and I trying to explain how both sides are douchebags, become a douchebag myself.
the sad part is, we are both douchebags. THIS WHOLE COURT IS OUT OF ORDER!!!

but all joking aside i think i was misunderstood, im not flamin on the discussion in this forum, im flaming about how organizations like godhates**** and hippie peta go about their business, noone really listens to them.

yeah, its cool how the religions sync up, but then it just gets weird, i made through about an hour and 10 minutes of it. crappy backround music, accusatory dialogue, made with the conviction of self righteous college students trying to prove a point. pretty damn good find though.

they sure knew some weird stuff about those constellations changing on the spring sunrise every 2150 years for ancient civilizations. a lot of major religions are fundamentally similar, and teach the same values. says something about the origions of religion or human nature/values.

Yes, it was striking how he says that God was based on these constellation and sun. How can it be such a coincident?

I described how deep down, both fundamental christians and radical athiests will never enter a debate willing to listen to the other side, and you proved it by doing just what I described.

are there any other videos like this? talkin about simialrities of major religions?

That's a very lose enterpretation for what happened and hardly a good example to support your claim.
We aren't religous groups here and i'm not over zealous about this subject, what you said about the groups is true, however, you still did what i described, Don't be too defensive of what people think about what you have to say.
Quote:

This is what i'm talking about, You losely generalize about religous groups, It's true more bad comes out from religous groups meeting, But it's a generalization, I've been to groups about the matter, and i live in a multicultural, and multi beleif country And i've seen sides taken many a time aswell.
You can't just throw out "RELIGION 1 DOES X AND OTHER RELIGION DOES X".

I flame about how partizan political groups flame on each other, you flame on me for flaming, the cycle continues, SHRIMP AND WHITE WINE!

I notice that a lot of the time the best way for me to live my life is to have a balance of values, ie remember my spiritual values, but not forget my human nature and earthly goals, or to consider certain issues (an awkward situation with a girl I like) but not so much as to overanalyze and screw things up. like everything is always gray, never one side or the other (stories from religious books used to help every day values, instead of percieved as true, to quote southpark)
does anyone else notice the major aspects of life are always vague?

The similarity between the "Sun God" Horus of Egyptian times BEFORE Christianity has striking similarities. Horus then worshiped and adored by its people for they know without the sun life would not exist. The "Sun God" Horus was born a virgin, Dec 25th, died for 3 days, and resurrected again.

Horus (The Sun God)
Born on Dec. 25th
Born of a virgin
Was a star in the east
Adorned b 3 kings
Teacher at 12
Baptized/Ministry at 30
Carried around 12 disciples
Walked around performing miracles
Named "God of Lamb"/"The Light
Crucified
Buried for 3 days
Resurrected

Jesus Christ
Born on Dec. 25th
Born of a virgin
Announced with a star in the east
Adorned by 3 kings
Teacher at 12
Baptized/Ministry at 30
Carried around 12 disciples
Known as King of Kings/ Lamb of God/ Light of the World
Betrayed by Judas
Crucified
Placed in tomb
Resurrected

In the video they tell you EXACTLY WHY they both die and resurrected again. It has to do with the sun going south, leaving less and less light as the year goes by correct? On about Dec 22, it stops moving south for THREE DAYS, residing in the vicinity of the souther CROSS constellation. Then the sun starts to move north again on Dec. 25th where God is "Borned or Resurrected again" for the oncoming summer.

There are countless amounts of Gods that follows these guidelines.

God was adored and worshiped by the Egyptians, and who was god, the sun. It is the "Protector of DARKNESS" It is LIGHT. Egyptians personified the stars, with myths, we all know that, they have stories of all sorts. The Egyptian gave a human nature to almost all things. The sun, which is the unseen giver of "life giving" qualities, was personified as God. The savior of human kind. There are 100 more facts like this in the video. Starting at 10 minutes.

These are facts, found in your everyday history books, or encyclopedia. Can all these similarities be coincidental? So you would say. "OH JUST BECAUSE ITS SIMILAR DOESN'T MEAN IT ISN'T TRUE" Well it doesn't take a detective to piece this together.
