I know there is already a thread similar to this, but that was not it's original intention and has gone was off topic. This was made to be a specific argument between creationism(***/religion/ect) and evolution(atheism/science/ect).

What inspired this thread was a video(posted on shoutwire and linking to youtube) about how Satan invented the lie evolution. His argument was convincing, in the same way a cult speaker is, but during the video he showed an image of a hoax citing it as fact. Which really destroys your credibility. So now I would like both sides to present information to discredit the other. And although I realize that it would/will be nearly impossible to discredit one or another or change anyones views; that doesn't mean we can't have a little debate on the subject, does it?

Well, I definatly see this going down the toilet and getting closed because there are always people who get to carried away with such debates. Question for you to consider though: Why do we have tailbones, but no tails? Think about it.

but back to the topic. im agnostic so i dont believe either one. i dont think evoultion happend cause then the monkeys would be humans also. i dont believe in "***". I believe there is a higher power somewhere but that we dont know its shape or form or whatever. we had to get here somehow.

evolution is bullshit, and it's been scientifically proven that it is so, but scientists are still trying to prove that it is real, even though theyve failde countless times (even once some moron faked a skull of something, forgot what exactly)

Evolution is mainly a change in statistic,with the most suitable species winning out ,and the weaker less adaptable dieng out. Both sides have valid points.

I believe in ***,and Zero proves evolution in that he has no tail ,anymore. This possibly was surgically removed.

I really do not think either side can be argued and won. But by all means debate on.

Well I don't have time to read the link however I saw a documentery that proved evolution to be false. They did a DNA check on old bones of some ape woman. I can't remember all the facts on it. It also proven we don't come from neanderthalls. DNA is completely different species. The only time evolotion would occur that would make us derastically change from ape to man would be some wierd climate or enviormental change.

I also saw or read somewhere that the person who came up with the evolution theory later discreditted it.

I think were an experiment made by aliens and our universe is contained in a jar or something in an alien laboratory. Kinda like the plot from men in black. So until an almighty or whatever presents itself to me or I have a holy vision or some thing profound thats my rediculous story and im stickin to it

Darwin started out believing in an Intelligent creator but after studying nature and losing his daughter he lost faith in Christianity. Although he used the bible as a moral guide he did not believe in it as history. He considered himself an agnostic. It is a myth that he converted back to christianity on his deathbed.

umm no. i think i used an agnostic point of view. i dont believe in *** or living my life a certain way to get into heaven. I believe when we die thats it theres nothing else. no hell no heaven no reincarnation. thats it like an eternal sleep. i said i didnt believe in evolution or ***. I said higher power. hindus believe in more than 1 higher powers so should u also call me hindu? i think not

People tend to call that "higher power", yes, you guessed it, ***, because they don't know what it is. And pretty much in every religion, people acknowledge the existance of that higher power, and choose to call it ***, or some name that resembles the same thing. ***, Allah, Yahwey, Buddah, ect. Differant names but the same"higher power", or just a coincidence? You'll notice that very few religions, if any make use of more than one figuritive deity any more.

anyhow, as ill say it again, im a practicing catholic, and our take on it is that the whole genesis thing is a story, meant to teach a lesson. for all of you guys who are taking it literally, you are just wrong. can the earth and everything honestly be created in 7 days?? i mean come on.

i believe strongly in evolution. imo all the science points to it. species will evolve and adapt to there surroundings. mother nature is amazing by itself. it does not need some higher design to help it evolve.

i however, believe that *** set in motion the big bang. that is where science stops. science has not yet been able to give an explanation as to what was before the bog bang or what caused it.

this whole intelligent creator theory is just confusing people. instead of trying to credit it to a *** or lord, they make up that stupid intelligent design.

Actually, I saw an episode of Star Trek Voyager, and the big bang was created from Omega particles destabilizing and creating a chain reaction explosion.
