Default FireFox VS Internet Explorer - 07-03-2007, 05:31 AM

If this was posted before then o well, pretty simple question FireFox VS Internet Explorer vote for which one you like most.

FireFox all the way I don't care what you say, **** Internet Explorer.

Eh, don't believe me? Go on IE try browsing a ****o/crack w/e site instant viruses FireFox doesn't do that with any site at all + the features on it beat IE's features.

Also for all of you who don't have FireFox get I suggest you try it out before replying to my thread:
Firefox - Rediscover the Web

Yeah, whenever it freezes or computer crashes whenever you restart it will ask if you wish to restore session, which is another awesome feature IE doesn't have.

Also as long as no one comes along says "zomg i use teh IE it is pwnzor" there will be no need to move this to steam room.

lmao, guess you have a point there.

i think firefox is a bigger, better version of IE, IE is just the basics, everything you need to surf the web.

Idk, the latest IE has some pretty cool features, can probably compete with Firefox with usefulness. However, on my comp IE can't close properly and I have to go through the End Now crap. So, for my Cpu Firefox, for cpus that work properly I say both. Btw you sound just as bad as an IE IS TEH PWNZORZ guy you describe.

It's back.

Lmao, if dan is talking about what i think he is, we should point at him and laugh.

on every mac computer i used (grandmas and friend) you had to click on safari to get to surf the internet. macs are so bad man, so hard to navigate (not for me... most of the time)

so it is my thinking, that he's using a mac, and because of that we should point at him and laugh.

The last version of IE I had, 7?, looked like it was trying to be more like firefox but all messy.. Like they took the firefox code and just put it in a blender.

Firefox is all good and stuff, but still has its flaws. My main problem is the part where Java makes the browser memory leak and eventually freeze up. Awesome. IE just throws in tabbed browser and "safety" features that mostly annoy the hell out of you and assumes that it is a better browser. Sorry, but asking me if I should download a file that I want 3 times is not safety.

Thing I do like about IE though; Every web-based app. usually works with IE.

Firefox.
Has alot of good addons you can have. Works better for me. I dunno, to me IE is just slow and annoying. The downs about firefox is, is what Matt said.
It gets me really annoyed when I try to go to flash sites or any sites that require a plugin.
