I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate LOTR, way to long and drawn out. I cannot sit down and watch a four hour movie and believe me seeing them in theaters was hard.

The funny thing is most people that have read the novel of LOTR wanted to movies to be longer since they left so much out....

u must be a serious ****ing idiot to think the animation, and by ANIMATION i mean MOVEMENTS, NOT general graphics. the graphics were ****in nice, but the animation was unfortunatly not up to par for something that shouldve been animated as realistic. Very little presence of something we call "laws of physics", takes out all the "realism" that the models and textures were giving.

I used to like Micheal Moore untill he came out with that movie. He talks about how the government is hiding things, and their reports are biased. But he did the same thing himself in that movie.

(ps. I just hope you didn't think it sucked!)

American History X is a GREAT movie because it has a point and it illustrates it greatly with a story that keeps you hooked until the very end, and after it's over it leaves you there thinking and pondering.

That, to me, is what makes movies, music, and art in general great. If it doesn't provoke thoughts and make you question your own life then what good is it? I do agree that Edward Norton is a great actor.. I guess that's what you were trying to get at

I also suggest Fight Club, Sin City, Full Metal Jacket, 12 Angry Men [you've all probably seen this in school], and on a newer note.. Little Miss Sunshine.

I have seen a lot more movies that I like other than those few, but those are some of my favorites.

I go to the movie theatre a lot and Borat was one of the funniest movies ever to see in threatres.
