I hate the LOTR movies... To damned long. and nice sig Froggy

I love that movies are getting longer, they're averaging two hours now instead of an hour and a half. People who complain about movies being too long, unless it's like War of the Worlds where they spent way too much time in that basement, just come of as impatient to me.
I enjoy engaging, long movies like Braveheart or Schindler's List.
I personally didn't think War of the Worlds was that great either. Sure it had awesome action sequences, but I would have liked to see Spieberg follow the book more closely then make some sappy deadbeat dad backstory. If you are going to make an action movie that's one thing, but don't try to cram in tacky, sentimental scenes that don't really add anything.
yes, napoleon dynamite was pretty retarded but in a funny/stupid way. funniest part was when he shocked his nuts.
i totally agree with someone that said lotr is too long and that movie just dont' capture my interest whatsoever. one time, i tried to actually sit down and watch lotr: two towers, but i turned it off after 10 minutes or so.
Ok you say it's too long but you only watched ten minutes? Maybe it's too much to ask of people to sit through three hours of a great story...then again maybe I just have high expectations with my 4+ hours Dune.
I watched a really retarded movie this weekand, Firing Line. it was like watching paintball; one person runs out, shots and kills someone, then goes to run of and gets gunned down. The gunner then gets gunned down as he is making his escape and it just continues like that.
i got one that wasnt really a bad movie...it was ok. but compared to the amount of hype built up and how good it was supposed to be, it was terrible: mr and mrs smith
