I think that gay people are OK. It doesn't matter to me if you're gay or not, you're still a human being. Also, from what I've heard, people are usually gay from birth, so its not really their fault if they are gay, its just how they were born. As long as you're a good and cool person, it doesn't matter to me if you're gay or not.

I'm not sure about gay marriage though. Its all fine if your gay, but I think marriage takes it too far. No one is stopping you from being gay, but declaring it in marriage is taking it too far.

I'm fine with them, and they should be able to marry and have the same rights as anyone else. The government saying otherwise is denying them their unalienable right of liberty, which is against the Constitution in the most basic way.

my opinion is that i am fine with it. there are 2 types of homosexual people...this theory was actually vocalized by one of my gay friends and i agree. theres the regular homosexual people who are really cool people and no different from anyone else, and then theres the 'flaming faggots'. i do not like these people and neither does my gay friend that i discussed this with. this people seem to want to rub it in everyone's face that they are gay and seem to actually want to make people uncomfortable about it.

How is it taking it too far, loving someone and wanting to be with them isn't taking it "too far"

shrug....homosexuals have just as much right to marry as straight people...who really cares? is the sky going to suddenly rain firebolts down on us if some dude marries another dude?

Well I feel inclined to go biblical on this: I won't get into specifics but, Jesus said love everybody (including gay people cause like it or not gay people ARE people). But it Also says gay sex is wrong, that may not seem linked but you should be waiting to have sex till AFTER marriage (with the person you're married to I feel inclined to say). So that means they're getting married to do something wrong; Therefore, in closing, I like gay people, but aren't fine with the aspect of gay marriage.

Let me put it this way, A person in a gay relationship gets injured, and is in hospital, But the couple aren't married. Thus meaning that even if the guy is dying, his other half isn't allowed to see him, Oh, yeah sure thats fine isn't it.
The bible also tells people that eating seafood is wrong. It also talks about how slavery is fine aslong as they slave isn't from your country. Just go and read leviticus.

being a catholic, it is very hard to decide of course on this issue. as you guys know, catholicism condemns gays. however, living in the US it is their "unalienable rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" to marry. i support them in the sense that it is their free will and liberty to marry. and i have nothing against gays personally..

oh and you really cant denounce the legitamacy of the Bible by this...
yes what you said is fine if you look at in HISTORICAL CONTEXT. during this time period, it was very common for invadeing countries to take slaves. this is old testement... in the new testement Jesus says that slavery is wrong and as for eating seafood... read "Feeding of a thousand." i forgot the exact name of the passage and the book it is in.

actually Leviticus is where I got the "man who lays with man as he does a woman" thing

i was wondering if you guys find gays kissing in public disturbing? in my opinion it is a tiny bit gross, but they have every right to do so

Why would anyone have a problem with them getting married? Who the hell said it's "moral" for a man and a woman to marry? Tradition? A big book of stories? Please. They have about as much authority of something as my left foot does.
