scloader2a: No-cd loader, .mpq- and .dll loader all in one for all sc versions - Page 2 - Blizzard Sector

scloader2a contains a minimal amount of data (~71K) from your install.exe file found on your SC CDs. Campaigns, movies, and background music is on the cd inside install.exe. The readme file shows you many ways to put this data on your hard drive. You can copy the install.exe to your starcraft directory. If you want both original starcraft and broodwar campaigns/movies then create a directory in your starcraft folder with the name "BW" and copy the other install.exe file to this directory.
I usually want only the music files from the cd cause I dont play campaigns anymore. If you do so, then get a cool MPQ tool, extract the music\*.wav files from the install.exe on your broodwar cd (that is also an MPQ data file) and then compress them to your patch_rt.mpq file. This way you will be able to listen to the music in both original sc and broodwar mode. There should be about 20 music files.

Xenotron please help go step by step on how to use ur scloader2a. My laptop get hot easily on me and shut down itself when I use the sc cd. I have dl the file but don't really know how to get it started. So please please help a poor guy here. Tell me what I need to do from A - Z. Thanks a bunch!!!
