I quite liked Joseph II's epitaph:
"Here lies Josef II who was unfortunate in all his enterprises"

I case you guys didn't know, he was the Emperor of Austria-Hungary in the 18?th Century. His reforms were too modern for the Empire, so they caused massive uproars. Overall, they were a failure and he didn't have an heir that would've finished the job.

Emperor of Austria-Hungary was traditionally always chosen to be the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire as well, since Austria-Hungary *used to* be the most dominant state within the Empire.
