Yeah, I figured I shoulda done that. Ah well, the first picture was guessed on, we're onto the second now. So far, nobody's got it.

Regardless, I'll post the image from now on so people can see what images have already been done.

Is it something that can be easily recognizable? Like have almost everyone seen one/owned one of these in their lifetime?

I has to be a toy of some sort..

Red eyes, small patch of black hair, black suit, whtie gloves/white buttons or zipper...

It's a piece of animated pop culture, emphasis on "Pop(ular)." It's been around for quite a while, and yes, those are buttons.
