Bliz does less damage, but many hits. Meteor does 1 big hit with lotsa damage, and leftover fire does small bits of damage.

I think you all know this but,

2 Tree Sorc = PvM
1 Tree Sorc = PvP

As far as Blizz vs Fireball sorcs for PVP, it's really your choice. However when they fight each other fireball sorc usually wins (if built properly) It's just too damn speedy to ever get hit by blizzard.

oh yeah, was going to say that meteor CAN be used in PVP, you just need to know when to use it. For example, against hammerdins, DF+ww sins, etc. You basically stand in one spot and cast meteor on yourself over and over while lauching fireballs at the enemy. When a hammerdin (or other char) tries to teleport ON you, you teleport away and they get hit by a 23K (or more) meteor :)

It's quite fun.

Yeah, death fathom's - resistance is nice. Elemental damage whether it be fire / cold / lightning kinda sucks in general. People can just absorb it and have resistance.

For dueling fireball sorcs seem a lot better.. but for botting pindle or doing meph runs i still feel blizz sorcs are the best and with decent equip you can tele right up to meph and just blizz him to death no prob without the moat trick.

if u can use a light sorc right for pvp they can usually win, btw when my light sorc is finished it will kill hell meph in like 3 hits, 1-45k

i wish lightning would have a better chance of doing its max damage.. i would love mine if it always hit high

Unless you get unlucky and you do 1 damage the first hit, 20 damage the second hit, and then you drop back down to 10. Randomness in atatck spells isn't goo because you have nothing to rely on. It's unreliable. Blizz slows their asses down and does decent damage..and it affects a pretty sizable area. Blizz powah!@

Meteor is nowhere near a good duelling skill. Fully synergize meteor and you will automatically have fully synergized fireball. Use fireball instead. It tends to be better than both cold and lightning.

Anyways, remember that fire has the huge damage of lightning, combined with the accuracy (not like 1-200000 something like that) of cold damage.

Weeee!! Just leveled my sorc to 80 from purely manual meph runs... 15 levels on meph aint bad, eh? The funny thing is that she has never done a hell baal run yet...
