Sorceress Character Building

Okay on diablo2, I'm kind of getting sick of having weak characters, mostly because it takes a while to level up and everything.

Now I want to start using a Sorceress, because I have only used them a couple of times.

Now in game what would be best to add stat points to? Strength, Dex, Vit, or Energy? What are good spells to work on? Also in the skill tree, when you choose what element your going to upgrade, should you start out with one spell and max it out? Or put like 10 on one and 10 on another?

Any tips you can think of.

I use max fireball meteo firematery (now maxing fire bolt) it gives u huge dmg.
And dont use energy shild better putt many points in vita and no in mana cuz with later u will have mucj of it anaway
