So I am making a 200 fcr fire sorcy and trying to decide between es or full vit and I dunno hydra maybe. I see a lot of people say "Boo on es, you won't have enough mana" My question is though, even if the 200 fcr sorcy can't get huge mana don't they usually end up with more mana than life? If so wouldn't that make going es better than full vit? Also, with a full vit build how the heck can I spam tons and tons of fireballs? Am I just supposed to use bolt? I am just curious as I don't really know for sure. Thoughts?

And sorry I know thisis an oft discussed topic, but no one seemed to address these specific points.

It's not too bad and he recommends not to use ES.

I am of the same view, I think that full VIT is better than ES on 200%FCR sorcs, namely because you miss out on the items that make ES awesome, SoJs and Frostburns.

There is no right or wrong answer. You probably won't have massive mana problems in duels. I would go for full VIT.

Hmmm yeah, maybe if I collected lots of mana/life charms at some point es would be good, but I think for the moment I'll try vita. In either case though, the main idea of a super fast sorceress is not too get hit in the first place.

Also, I love the idea of using Hydra, that was one of my favorite 09 builds.

It doesn't really matter what you do, you will still get hit. Just depends on how you absorb the damage. Without SoJs and Frostburns, your mana regen will be very, very low. Meaning that you cannot spam Fireballs and when you start taking hits in, you're ****ed. You will be low on mana, no regeneration and you cannot even use Fireball.

But wait! What if you dropped a fcr ring and the eschutas and did wizspike and an soj instead? Wizspike adds a ton of mana and both do a % based addition. Whadya think? Also you'd have great res this way and with the +1 on the soj your dmg wouldn't drop too bad. Heck you could throw in some silk weaves to boot(though I think I'd prefer treks or Marrowwalk for dex) I dunno maybe I'm just crazy and am too into non cookie cutter builds. Whaddya all think? I dunno if it'd actually work, just throwing it out there.

Look, I don't know who I could put this any simpler for you. Yes, it is an option. Yes, it will work. Will it be optimal or the best solution? No.

You can do a lot of things. I already told you what the best solution is, rest is up to you.
