I haven't played d2 in around a year.. And I decided to start playing again.

Since I don't have any gear or previous characters left over, I was going to make a Blizz Sorc for mfing (& botting, if someone can explain to me which program to use, what requirements I need to fulfill.. and so on).

And I also had a question on skills..

Would it be recommended to use any of the cold shield skills?
If so, which would be best for a blizz MF sorc, and how many points would be good, without taking too much out of my damage and whatnot?

I'm going to try and get the gear listed in Espada's blizz sorc guide. (the pvm set.) It'll take me a while to get all of it though, so obviously.. donations would be greatly appreciated.

Don't worry about any of the other characters besides Blizzard Sorc. Without gear and such, Blizzard Sorc is the best for Mfing hands down. Having started with Blizzard Sorc for awhile, I had tried light and fire Sorcs this ladder and boy, what a waste of time. Just Mf your items, when you get them, you will know if its good for you Sorc or not. Occy, Skullders, etc.

yeah.. I've tried the other sorcs too, the other times that I had started playing, and also found Blizz to be best for starters/ cheap MFers.

Well are there any specific things I should watch for that would make it obvious whether or not to use one of the shield skills?

And now I just need to get rushed / lvled.. haha. Lvl 7 blizz sorc for the lose.

I did just get some stuff in a free game though.. Tal mask, Tal belt, 153 titans, wizspike, a couple other set items, some random uniques.. nothing great, but its a better start than not.

Just use the first shield skill. The extra defense bonus on the second or third one doesn't make a big enough difference for a skill.
