Alright. I have just pretty much finished my Blizz sorc build. She is 75 (still need some more baal's) She wears torch anni 6 cold GC's Fathom, blizz ormus shako 2 sojs will wear arach im in the process of getting a spirit and war travs. I have blizz maxed and glacial spike, somewhere around 10 or something skillz into cold mastery and ice blast. 1 into warmth and all necessary lightning skills. I havnt done any of the 9 skill point quests yet, so i have those to work with yet... Im only doing 8k dmg though, i know that i will be doing a little bit better when i hit 80 for arach and get a spirit, but what should i do with the rest of my skill points? Im shooting for level 90 b friday, so 15 levels+the nine ill get from skill quests. Cold mastery? Synergies? Any ideas? Thanks guys.

the extra's use according to what you are going to do with your sorc. (pvp or pvm)

Mainly pvm, she is an MF sorc. Also, Cold Mastery just reduces enemy resists correct? Is there a point where that wont have an effect some monsters? Say there cold resist is already low enough that you could max out there negative resists? or will they just keep droping?

well yea basically what espada said, here a pic of my sorc she isnt great but is ok, she wears coh in stead of blizz ormus that little bit of dmg isnt really that needed imo. but i actually wear a snowclash for the added skills and it gives something into a cold sheild so i dont have to waste skills there, but i found if you wear snowclash u lack fcr i belive u need atleast 105 fcr.

I think you max Ice bolt and you max mastery last. Ice bolt gives +8% damage to Ice Blast and +5% damage to Blizzard, while mastery lowers the resist of enemy by 5% each level. So you will physically see the amount of your Ice Blast and Blizzard go up if you max Ice Bolt, and actually doing more raw damage. However if you are running up against a monster with high resist, more -resist% will be better. For example if an enemy has high resist, -resist will help a lot more than +damage, but if the enemy only has 10 resist, your +damage% will do more. Its up to you.

those scs are like 2 +str 5 res all scs and 20 lifers and 5 fhr scs. but also i have alot of life because my cold gcs have about 38 life on all of them.

i would rather use arachnids, but i cant be bothered to level her a few more levels so i can put skills into chilling armor. because if i wear arachnids now i dont have an armor.

You don't really need one of the chilling armors tbh.. Sorcs shouldn't be getting by melee unless it's a bvc / wwsin and in that case your defense will be too low to make a difference anyway

Well, I just got a crappy Nightwing and a spirit monarch. Because i wasnt planning on wearing something that heavy, i need 1 more level for the req str. With just the nightwing though im up at 10k at level 84 now. With the spirit i should be sitting alright. I also dont have cold facets in any of my gear yet. Im sure 1 in armor helm and fathom would help quite a bit. I Had read a thread somewhere that had mentioned building in the fire tree as well though. Since this is primarily a MF sorc, I have put 1 point into fireball bolt mastery meteor and such. I will be using her to rush also, so the alternate tree is a must. (I can walk through most hell 8player no sweat, havnt even attempted uber yet though, i dont think theres much hope for that) Ill post my build and frost and fire damages later tonight.

my friend does 12k blizz dmg =/ ive seen that shit and dayumn lol sorcys are pretty badass. I know very little about breakpoints and all of that good stuff but im learning alot by this site... well yeah how are you only doing 10k blizz?

ok so i have an orb sorc... lvl 65 wearin full sig... cause i'm so dirt broke =( but with ice bolt frozen orb and ice mastery i'm close to outa skills i'm startin to add to ligtning but how can i make a hybrid that can handle hell cold immunes without suffering too much in orb dmg? and no i have no bonuses to skills except sig shield. so if neone could give me any tips i'd really apprectiate it. and btw ur blizz sorc sounds awesome i wish i could afford gear like that. =D
