Just found one, gonna use it and deciding if its worth to upgrade to balrog skin

just throw it on your merc and use something else. make sure merc gets the finish kill :)

If you moat trick or something (meaning you wouldn't use a merc), I wouldn't recommend upping to balrog. I don't see mf sorcs as the type to get into trouble, so they don't really need defence and you could spend the extra stats on something else.

Well, she will be using spirit monarch, so I could just add the extra 10 pts into strength, unless anyone of you guys know of a better shield I could use and I wont have to put much strength at all.

I guess it kind of depends which sorc you are using as your MF sorc. I don't play vanilla d2 anymore, but when I did I always used a cold sorc for MF, and she used a Splendor (Eth+Lum) I believe. I never used a lightning for MF, but I guess if you are going down that road you could go with Spirit for the nice mods.

I'd up the armor. HRs aren't that expensive now are they? It'd be worth it as it's value would probably go up a considerable amount(don't know the current economy but it would probably go up more than the price to up it would be).

I'm most likely going with a lightning sorceress build for MF'ing, so since the Spirit seems the best to use, I guess I should up it and put the few extra points into strength.
