which is the best cold armor to use for a pvp Blizz Sorc? i am making a new one and i want to get it right.

Most people like to use coh... I've had success with a engima based full vita blizzer with about 7 20life/11fire and 3 20life/11light resi scs. The bonus of using enigma is better defence if you use Cold Armor (the middle one) you can reach about 6k def, you save stat points off strength and save 2 skills since teleport is from enigma.

Imo the 65% resi on coh is over rated since you only need to max light and fire anyway.

cool, i am using coh for my sorc but i don't have a fathom so im basically using all the gg for it minus the fathom, im using hoto.
and ive been hearing that shiver armor is the best apparently.

that both of you managed to get his question completely wrong.

Chilling Armor is the best, however don't skill it, it's a waste of points. Get it on a precast Staff together with ES (if using ES).

Shiver armor gives you the most defense therefore it's the most useful one, why would chilling be any good?

Chilling and Shiver both give same def% imo.

im using a pure bliz vit build (no es) but i have 2 options, i can either
a) just wear a snow clash to give me chilling armor + blizz boost (i think)
or
b) wear an arachnids and waste a few skills do get max chilling armor OR shiver.

Sorry, didn't see your previous post.

Definately Arachnid, especially since Snowclash is BM due to the absorb. The mods on Arach are just way too good to be sacrificed. Get your Armor skill of your ES staff.
