orb sorc and dueling - Blizzard Sector

what makes orb sorc so good for pvp wen others can do multiple thousands of dmg and orb someone said can only do 6-700?? why is this so great?? it seem weak to me. and would u recomend using occy wit spirit sheild for dueling? and is shako good to use for dueling?

Well, first off, the max is somewhere like 1.5k damage (1.4k-1.5k, I think it is), and you have to realize that that's 1.4k damage per shard MINIMUM of the Frozen Orb. You also have to take into account Cold Mastery, which lowers your targets' cold resist by a certain a mount, I think it can get higher than -150. So, you have a spell that has a very large area of affect, is very hard to dodge (if you're not far away enough), and deals quite a lot of damage when you consider just how many shards are being produced, and the amount their resistances are being lowered.

yea the damage is per shard. considrering up to 40 shoot out. if u tele in front of them and shoot they get tens of thousnds of damage. and use deaths instead of occy

ok Chris, i told you many times about the cold sorc lol, all u have to do is ask me unless u dont believe me. My Cold sorc did 1.5 k dmg minimum - 15.7 k maximum and she owned

i have a orb sorc with 1k orb and -100resis from just gear, she uses doom and other things. owns everyone, even ele druids cant stand up to her
