fireball/orb sorc build help - Blizzard Sector

Hey guys i havent play diablo for along time and i want to make a fireball/orb sorc but i need a build or someone to give me the skills needed for fireball main and orb as back if imune to fire and i need gear and stat place ments aswell thanks. im going to lvl 85 aswell

Meteorb builds are not terrible, if they are made properly.

I would like to take credit for my build, but I can't really. See this guide.

Additional Comment:
I have a level 88 meteorb. Not perfect equipment (expect at least 5k more in damages)

Fire:

Fireball:7k
Meteor:14k

Ice:

Frozen Orb: 450

Do not let orb damage scare you, that is per shard, although my fire is much stronger and I only use orb for immunes and once on each boss to cold.

What I am missing from equipment:

2x Soj
Torch
Ani
6x Fire gcs
Arachnids mesh

Once I get these (+13 fire, +7 cold) the damage will get higher.

It is up to you if you want to build meteorb. Fire sorcs do more damage but I think that the damage you get with nice equipment and fire is enough, and then merc + ice is enough to deal with immunes.

could you guys direct me to a strong sorc with a back up attack like i mentioned and a good build to go with it just inace if there is a immune because im not really rich as i havent played in 6 months, and i need a good char to get me going and to get some gear. or just a cheap guide that works well enough to get full ik to make a barb . okay thanks.

Best option is go with a pure and get a merc that's IMO

going hybrid isn't going to get full damage you're looking for so yeah it's really your choice

Just get an infinity merc, even though infinity is 12 sojs, it will make you STRONGER, and you can single tree, and no immunes.

Are sojs cheaper on us realms than on eu or are the runes on us just that expensive? You get infinity for 12 Ists von eu T_T

I agree with the above posters, go with fb/meteor and get a merc /w infinity.

well how about if i made pure light sorc ? with infinity merc would that be good? ofcourse i would need to use my insight untill i get an inifinity, oh umm what stuff should the merc use to take out light imunnes other than infinity and how can i get an infinity kinda quickly without have to make a character to mf or stuff like that?
