Omg, How Do I Build A Lightning Sorc - Blizzard Sector

ok, so far my sorc is lvl 11 with 5 into the first skill for lightning (in order for bonuses) so, what should i max out and what should i leave empty and such?? plz help me :) ty

i personally dont like light sorcs. they have to have godly gear to do decent damage. my friend made one and it sucks ***

well in hell everything is immune to fire and cold... but not to much lightning

actually... you have not realised it, but lightnings are the most common immunes in Hell.

Ok first off what kind of newb makes an all lighting sorc. Your an idiot Overlord. Try playing a game that takes no skill cuz your a failure. Just give up on D2 you suck at it.

shadow..... man i dont care if this isn't flame boards, you're a fag. I'm a newb, ICP is prolly just getting his footing, and you think you are almighty? Do us a favor and never post here again. As far as lightning sorcs.... they're definetely the weakest of the three elements.

i think you missed a bit

lightning sorces can do 10-20k per hit with lightning

is lightning still based on ias like it was in 09?
if so use a 6 shael crystal sword
if not use a plight eshutas with p light jewel in it

For ICP's sake, if I were to do a lite sorc, id max out:
Lightining
Chain Lightning
Lightning Mastery

Then I'd Put 10 into charged bolt, 10 into nova

And lastly I'd put 1 into frozen armor and 1 into energy shield...After that put pts where u see fit in the lightning department...That's if this is for an all lite sorc :)

I think just max out all synergies for the lightning skill you want for
If part with a conviction paladin, it may be pretty cool

Hey icp u are asking a very simple question , but it seems you have not stated that you are making a lighting/cold sorc u said u needed help building a "Lighting" sorc... if you would have said something about that in the first place you wouldnt have wasted so much time argueing over such a pointless topic. And now to answer your question if you are going to be doing cold and lighting i recomend maxing Frozen orb, cold mastery , the synergy for frozen orb , Thunderstorm , and lighting mastery .. :) have fun
