The truth is if you had a national poll today and yesterday about your thoughts of MJ, 95% of yesterday's would say Lunatic/Crazy or Child Molestor w/e the **** other negative shit, and today it'd be all Loved Hero. Now while it may sound cold the MJ we respected and loved "died" 15 years ago. Ever since, whether due to his ****ed up raising as a child star or drug abuse or thousands of other catalysts, he's been a completely different person. His death is already being cashed in on, look at iTunes. They are advertising his music like nobody's business on the front page of the store for 1.29 a song, now all his songs are in the top 100 downloaded. It's a shame. I feel bad for his family, not only for his loss but for the debt they'll be inevitably inheriting.

And of course Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon's deaths were overlooked which is also a shame. CNN had a maybe 15 second long clip about the 2 of them. Sad week.

Gogo first (and maybe last post) in forever.

Nobody can handle the leetness of this sig.

Actually yea, me too. I didn't believe it at first. This guy is only 51!.. I do care and don't care. Beat it has to be one of my favourite music videos but this whole ordeal takes the Iran issue outta of the spotlight
Which is not good

Beat it by Pierce the Veil is pretty awesome. They did a good cover.

I guess it's sad he died, but I don't think he did himself any favors by living the way he did. He made himself frail, and it killed him in the end. I think it's ridiculous the celebrity pop culture stars get to. If Obama died at the same time as MJ, I think they'd have to compete for the spotlight instead of the President getting first priority. It's rediculous.

^Ridiculous is spelled with an "i".

Although I believe MJ definantly had some sort of misconduct with children, I believe that some of the childrens' suits were fake and only intended to get money from MJ. I like MJ's music and pity more than abhor him for his personal life (Although molesting children is a big no, no matter what your personal state is).

I totally agree with Fug, it's a shame that he isn't going to be remembered as probably the greatest music artists who has ever lived, instead his legacy goes down with child molsestering, bankruptcy, among other things.

He was determined to be 99% plastic, so instead of being cremated, he will be melted down into plastic leogs so kids can play with him for a change.

ouch people ouch..
not that i care. but the cause of death is most likely linked to overuse of prescription drugs.

you would think that they would have learned by now.

Elvis died at 41? The cause: abuse of prescription drugs. The King of Rock.

Michael Jackson died at 50. Abuse of prescription drugs. The King of Pop.

Lets hope the other "kings", when they are so named, will learn from the mistakes of their counterparts.

Depends on the genre. Rap is doomed, considering the momentary best in the business and probably considered to be the all time best can only seem to go through drug addictions. Presuming he doesn't get shot first.
