I enjoyed the movie, it was very true to the book and I think Will did a great job in it. My biggest complaint is that they made the creatures into mindless monsters with no real rational thought, unlike in the book.

I thought it was a load of crap indeed.

    ***SPOILER***
Did anyone else find it kind of ironic that after discovering the cure to the mankind's disease, he hauls himself into people who he could potentially have saved with a hand grenade, taking as many down with him as possible? "Epic" ending, mankind's salvation etc, so he decides to become a suicide terrorist.

Mmm...I don't see how you guys can be such a hard critic on things. It was a great movie for me haha. Will Smith can do anything, and has done everything, o_O. Sci-fi, drama, comedy, etc.

It was 2005 when he did Hitch. 2006 when he did The Pursuit of Happiness, which I thought was a great movie before I even watched it. And he made I Am Legend in 2007, I don't think he needed to do a "comeback", he does approximately a movie a year.

I thought that movie was pretty good. I couldn't understand why so many critics gave it a bad rating. You guys have to remember that any movie seems worse after you watch it and you have time to question it. I like to rate movies on what my reaction was directly after watching the movie. At the end of this movie, I thought it was pretty good so that's my opinion on it.

Also, wtf is up with that town at the end. It looked like a mixture of the dark ages+22nd century. There was farmland and an old-style meeting house yet there were those eye scanners? Not to mention one of those Amish looking houses must have contained the biology lab where the cure was taken. That part did confuse me a bit.
As long as darkness flows through my veins, I will never cease, As long as my dreams still haunt me, I will never show mercy, and as long as evil lives I will never die.....

I was expecting a little more than what it was made out to be. Sucked in my book, but the bacon thing was pretty funny!

It was entertaining. That's all I cared about. Plot holes are just fun to think about, but don't ruin my experience unless they are like the defining factor to understand the story, which to me there really were none of that magnitude. Course there's going to be plenty of minor ones, as all movies have them. I did find it confusing how all she heard was that there was a town in Vermont, and somehow managed to find it with no directions or coordinates. But in the end, those things (And I know plenty others) are just humorous to me.

It was weak. Dvd's sold well due to his namesake which I'm grateful for, but hell yea it did fall way short of I Robot.

If he had not killed himself it would have been kinda gay...like, 'Hey, happy ending in post apocalyptic world!'

Is it me or did Fred move when he say him outside?

No compassion- like having a straight faced orgasm.

I liked it. Days later, I found out Will Smith was now a scientologist. Then I didn't like it.

    I WAS SAVING THAT BACON

I Am Legend' is essentially a Will Smith one-man show, and he succeeds marvelously. I saw this film twice. I like this film very much.

I wasnt a fan of the movie, but since theres a book ill check it out, maybe its better... the craziest part was when he

    *spoiler*

i liked the movie and i espically like the fact that the exploding cars consitute a defence

i liked the fact that these...things are masterfully done and i like the suicide terrorist part, if theres one way to die the way i want, id die fighting and taking down as many as the bastards as i can with me

  16. #16

when he had to kill his own dog.. that one almost got to me.. I couldnt imagine having to do that
