Removing Color from Tennis Balls

Me and my friend want to create white Tennis Balls. How would you go about removing the color from tennis balls? I tried bleach and am waiting to see the results.

What do you suggest doing with blank tennis balls to pimp them out? We also just want white ones too.

hmm. i dont think youll be able to bleach them out.. but wth do you want white tennis balls for?
i think the yellow is dyed on or stained on. plus the fabric is like some kinda synthetic substance. good luck lol

If bleach removes the color on clothes, why won't it on tennis balls. There has got to be some chemical I own that can remove the color from these damn things.

Because clothes are cloth/fabric.

uhhhh

Step 1: get a lot of white smoke bombs.
Step 2: get a big jar or small enclosed space that will not melt or burn
Step 3: light all smoke bombs and drop in the jar withe the tennis ball.
Step 4: hopefully the tennis ball didn't melt

I thought about spray paint. Spray paint is less heavy than regular paint. I want to try that and see if it affects the ball's gameplay in any way.

If you try hard enough I think you can buy them somewhere. I remember my cousin once talking of albino tennis balls. Maybe she meant the really old ball they found, I'm not sure =P

You could always just leave them in your yard for a year or two. The elements of weather may remove the color sometime, lol.

Dude im pretty sure you can buy them online but im not sure. Also, bleach didnt work ... ?

edit: Chlorine should do the trick.

Isn't bleach the same thing as chlorine pretty much? And I think it worked, I've yet to test the bounce ability.

Those things are like $2 each plus shipping. The thing is we got an entire garbage bag full for free so we want to make some of them white.

IMO spray paint is your best option. It'll prolly rub off over time, though.
