This does not have to be a job, but what occupies the Most of your time from week to week
I will start off by saying what I do:
Depends on if I am on a job or not
If I am at work, I travel to paper mills to work outages with National Boiler Services. I assist welders in making repairs, stage materials, and generally do whatever is needed.
At home I maintain a .7 acre yard, play unreal tournament, unreal tournament2004, warcraft III/tft, and try to stay away from a soon to be xwife that would probly befriend any of you if she knew I was posting here.
So, hopefully we can all lighten up, and share our lifestyles with each other.
Those who do not like to get too personal can stay out of here.

High School student. Busy with school a lot(damn AP classes lol). Most nights talk to gf for a few hours and hang out with her every weekend. Many house chores since running away from my house but it's worth it. Love video games but can't play that much, not to mention I have no money to buy anything better than my PS2.
In the summers I work, mow my neighbor's lawn. Not much but $80 a month gets me the basics. I seem to be a lucky gambler, as I win money a lot during football season lol. Won $10 on a scrath ticket yesterday too.

I am a United States Marine. My MOS is 5900; however, evey Marine is trained to be a rifleman. I work 5 days a week (except when i have duty weekend). I have to pt everyday followed by classes i have to take to become NCO. There isn't much to tell and a lot only Marines would understand. So unless there are questions I'll leave it at that.

I am planning on joining the Marines when i graduate highschool in 2008. Any advice?
Just make sure you really want to. And if so stop eating nasty shit and start running every day. make sure you get a workout every day. It will make your life a whole hell of a lot easier. The Marine Corps is hard enough.

I work close to 50 hours a week, grinding, and assembling fiber glass car parts mostly. Most of the car parts are 65' - 69 Shelby Mustang parts, however I'm working on a order of 10 sets of Z06' Corvette rear fenders.
I am unemployed and spend most of my time either reading, playing games or chilling at home with my friends (drinking) having a good time and making the best out of house-arrest. Only 3 more weeks left though WOOT!!!

Which job is 5900 for MOS I was Army so I am unfamilliar with Marine MOS.
Also how many times a day do you PT and what are the running standards now?
(For those that do not know an MOS is your job classification, and PT is Physical Training, NCO means Non Comissioned Officer)

Anywho, I am currently a sophomore undergrad college student at Elizabethtown College (aka Etown - PA, not KY). I am an English with a concentration in Professional Writing major (I could have just said Pro Writing but that wouldn't have sounded as good) and Communications minor. I do not have any current aspirations as to what I'd want to do with my studies; at one point I was saying I wanted to go freelance, but at other times I just want people to be telling me what to write. This probably being that I'm a staff writer for our college newspaper so I have gotten used to people telling me what to write.
In my spare time I like to hang out with my friends (including girlfriend; also basically all of the other people in the group I usually hang with are girls - Etown's student rate is like 3 or 4 girls to 1 guy), play mostly computer video games (mostly free ones; I'm a college student, therefore cheap - been playing the open beta of LoTR Online lately), surfing the Internet, being bored mostly (although I do not drink alcohol or smoke or any of that stuff; caffeine is my addiction).
Oh yeh, and I....uh......love (yeh thats the word, *love*), moderating here. All of the people at this site are the.... bestest.... (HELP, Russian terrorists have me tied up here in the warehouse on St. Brugelshtiemers Rd, and are forcing me to moderate 22/7) and I will do anything for the members......
So yeh, I guess that's me basically; a lazy and procrastinating college student not totally sure what he will be doing with his life after college and basing his subsistence off Ramen and free MMORPG's - at least I'm nIce More like a sweetheart!~Pamela
5900 is general aviation electronics or avionics. I wanted to go into intel but when i joined up there were no openings and they said I was too smart to go 0300 (Infantry). Plus I got a bonus for AE. It was only $4000 (unlike the army were you get like $20,000 just for joining) but that is a pretty good one for the Marine Corps. Now for the PT it depens on your unit, where your stationed, who your imidiate chain of comand is, and things like that. Now If you talk to a grunt they will tell you Marines that are in the airwing (thats me) don't PT, well I tell you they are lying. If we have UA's to formattions we pt longer. Just know Marine Corps PT is hard BUt it is worth it in the end. I'm on a Navy air base so I have seen the navy and the airforce pt. their pt isn't shit unless there are Marines pting them. Also I have seen the airforce pt like once per week if not 2 weeks. Like I said I'm in a program to get me promoted faster and we PT everyday so that we build up so we can handle the functions of the nco in the fleet. On average the the pt is every day - every other day (though I have pted twice a day a few times and that sucks).
Now for running you have to run 3 miles under 28 minutes. For a physical fitness test (PFT) we have to do pull-ups, crunches, and a 3 mile run. I think females its a little more time limit. Also for females they don't do pull-ups, they do flex-arm hangs. the have to be in the pull up postion for a certain lenth of time. The max pft score is 300. You need 20m pullups, 100 crunches and < 18 minute run time.
