Yeah I'm stationed on NAS Pensacola, FL for like a year for my MOS training. After boot camp non 0300 Marines have to go to MCT For combat trainging before we train for our MOS. I think the worst part is humping with 75-100 lbs packs for like 15km. It really sucks.

Yah no crap man,I weighed about 110lbs back then and carrying a large heavy rucksack was just hilarious..one of the Drill Sergeants laughed himself to tears and they took pictures.

They took pictures?! HAhahhahahaha thats hilarious. I know the short ppl had the hardest time because they were so light and short that the packs were just as big as them. What sucks worse is that I'm west coast Marine (MCRD/Camp Pendleton) which means we hicked moutains and hills. However, here at pensacola I could see that humping in sand would suck worse.

They have some pretty nice housing too and the barracks have been upgraded. The shopping and PX just ROCK,so do gas prices.Man I used to buy groceries for the month there. My daughter is near FT.Bragg but has no post access...and you know they stop and check everyone. Therefore she stays away.

Yeah it is a real pain in the ass... So did you like fayettville? Some people dont like it due to all of the gang activity and drugs... other than that its a great place to live. The people are nice, and my moms a cop there so I guess its ok.
I am studying for the flight tests and have been training but do not have the license yet, it is a complex series of tests as there is both written, oral, and an actual flight with an instructor..No I have not given up I just failed to mention it ~blush~
Yes I have flown planes and helicopters, guys.
What type of planes do you fly? I like to fly too, but never flew a helicopter. I prefer planes.

Yah Planes actually want to stay in the air...and mostly Cessnas, the type varies with which neighbor loans it to me.
Helicopters it is mostly a Huey(Bell) (they are OLD) or a B0105.
I have flown a home built,it was cool but very small.
I do not fly anything that is dual engine(too damn much for me)
