PM Loits, he's got a semi-godly Rouge in Jaedanar PvP Euro and has tried various talent distributions.

Not necessarily, the best off-hand weapon is a mace.

Any rogue that wants to do massive output in DPS with PvE is most definitely not going mace....what with talents mace specialization is anything BUT PvE. The sword/dagger specs are far far far better for PvE. Although PvP on the other hand, not exactly the same story.

I'd suggest a mutilate build. Good damage output, fast CP build up, Imp. KS, FW..

For PvE??? You can't KS, or CS bosses and mutilate DPS doesn't stack up compared to the combat dagger rogues...I'll post the build later I've got to go to class now.

WorldofWarcraft.com -> Info -> Classes -> Rogue -> Talent Calculator

At least our mutilate specced rogues can keep track of combat dagger rogues..

I suppose mutilate if you want more of a PvP edge, but keep in mind you're not going to be anywhere near the combat daggers on DPS. But your DPS will still be decent.

Depends a lot on whether or not you're going to be raiding or just doing like 5-man instances.

The best non dagger weapon for a rogue is by far this Thottbot World of Warcraft: Dragonstrike You guys are mongrols if you think that maces are inferior actually don't think, talk facts.

That mace with a lot of haste rating from other items is just godly.

We were talking PvE. In which yes, maces are inferior.

Um, you can't discuss the "best" unless you're going to tell us what for. The best PvE like I had stated is, at least in most people's opinion, Combat Daggers. PvP it really depends...

Ehhh, not a wise decision in my opinion being that it separates your specialization and what you can base your spec around. Also it gimps your DPS in the sense that A) You can't chose one talent to base it off and B) the damage isn't mitigated off the other weapon. (Unless you're hemo i suppose)

For pvp i would use dagger for the burst damage.... Thats if you can find yourself some good daggers... i don't know your level or what not so i can't really say.. To be honest if your lower then 60 i would either go swords or maces because they have some nice lower level ones. I can give you a good build either just gotta give me some backround :)

Yeah I don't suggest leveling with daggers (although I went 60-70 mutilate god knows why). Swords IMO is best for leveling because the extra swing > Stunning in leveling imo because it can proc enchants/poisons/other talents and increases DPS.

Daggers and stun are good for me as for pvp and for pve .. you can stun multiple enemies.. but no splash.
