I think a hammerdins better because they do good damagae with the right items and there are just so cool!!!!

i found hammers a bit hard to aim.... still its pretty good since its uncommon pvm

hammerdins own hell easy, my one can do baalrun hell easy and btw, instead of having two sojs, use one soj and one raven (for cannot be frozen and absorb) and for boots use marrows. note: he owns, kills mef 10 hammers.
Btw, to be REALLY sad use 10 combat skillers.

hammas hit ***in high but are boring to use... if ur pvm and are looking for it to be a little more fun i guess if go with zealot. And yes, hammer's are very hard to use correctly.

marrows suck. they are necro boots.. :/... and dont use a raven, use a 09 zoded 1.10 cham'd HoZ

A hammerdin needs treks. And a zealot is so boring to play now, everyone has one. It takes skill to master hammers.

some of those bugged boots work nice for hammerdins.. but treks are the nice cheap way to go..... it takes no skill at all to master hammers... you stand still and cast hammers all around you, 1-2 hits your enemy dies... if it takes more than 1-2 hits to kill your enemy your hammerdin sucks and you are screwed IMHO... :)

Mine only takes one, but I was talking about dueling with hammers. Not the noob dueling tho.

Siluru, does a hammer from your pally kill them in a half a hit? Because I thought killing it in 1 was good...

killing in 1 hit is good, im saying if it takes you more than 1 or 2 hits to kill somebody your pally sucks IMHO

i like hammerdins for pvm, they kill like sorcs, exept almost nothing is immune.

about blessed aim and vigor, i say max both, but vigor first, it is actualy usefull besides synergy.

hammerdins are VERY STRONG
also if you're a zealot
you cna't even get near enough to hit the hammerdin, even if your zeal is strong
but a couple, at the most, of hits with the hammers and u r down boy!

I just started a Hemmerdin and its what I'm currently working on.....Suffice to say they are probably what your looking for...Massive ammounts of Damage, Nothing is immune, and yes it takes just a little attention and skill to master the hammer but thats what make it fun.
Its funny really. 75% of the time I join a Baal run game I have to run to TP the throne because all the sorcs are too scared to Tele. But with MH, Holy Sheild, and Vigor, its a piece of cake and goes very very quickly. Hammerdin is probably the best PvM character I've played and I'm definently a Sorc freak. Plus its not that hard to build, and you can find extremely cheap sufficient equip until you starting wasting stuff in hell.

SteelClash Kite Sheild
Frostburns
+3 Hammer and +1 Blessed Aim Mace bought from drognan for 160k
Silks or ViperMagi
Lore Helm or Peasent Crown
Good resists boots
+1 Rare ammy
and some FCR rare rings

You'll be set for a while man, crappy equip but your hammers will easily top a couple K at low levels, and its very cheep and easy to find
