Gloves: Bloodfist, IK gloves (for bonus), some nice rare gloves
Rings: 20 dex Ravenfrost and BK, the life from BK is much more important than any Soj
Weapon and shield 1: Silence phase blade with upgraded Um'd HoZ (for FoH)
Weapon and shield 2: +3 to paladin skills & 2 sockets Heaven's Light, socketed with Shael and Ber, or +4 to paladin skills Astreon's Iron Ward, socketed with Ber + upgraded Ber'd HoZ

Charms:

Anni with high stats/resists, since exp doesn't matter
10 combat skillers, with life if you can
Life small charms, with resist if you can

You can also use Beast, if you use it, max Concentration and not Fanatism, you get lvl 9 Fanatism from Beast so you hit breakpoint requirement.

Since I can't seem to edit my first post:

- When you start leveling, you can but one point in Zeal, unless you have someone to rush you.
- Get an Act2 merc, I prefer Defiance or Holy Freeze.
- Make sure that you hit FHR breakpoints, which is 48%.
- You can go with Exile, if you wan't, but then you loose +4 to skills (your main damage for smite), +50 to resistance, 20 str & 20 vitality. Exile has Life Tap and Defiance, but most dueling leagues forbid change to cast items. And Exile is useless, if you use Defiance merc.

what's the damage of smite?
